sisters underneath which repose the earthly remains of Spencer Eakin, an
intelligent & interprising Merchant of Nashville, who was born in Muff,
County of Deery, Ireland and emigrated to Tenn. in 1819, He died while on a
visit to his Mother in Shelbyville on the 27th day of June 1840, in the 42nd
year of his age.
