Fieldstones probably marking the head or foot of a grave: 8185 / 8192
A grave under the White Pine Tree marked with a stone and wooden cross with a dislocated footstone bearing the initials S. F or possibly S. H. or S. E. The footstone has been hit by a plow in the past which diminished the readability of the last (surname) letter. 8280
/ 8281 / 8282

Could this be the Slave section: no visible monuments, but appears to be graves with a buried rock lined area. It is also possible it is the area used by white settlers before stones began to be used in about 1815. It is stated in the Giles Co Cemetery book that there is a slave area in this cemetery: 8200 / 8201

Typing by Faye Bradford, transcription by Mary Bob McClain Richardson using the photography and visit of this cemetery by C. Wayne Austin 12 Dec 2010. Added to this site 8 Sep 2011 by C. Wayne Austin. Many of these 133 listings were previously published in the book Giles County Tn Cemeteries on pages 412-414 by the Historical Society 1989. If there were differences we stayed with the photographic transcription of the tombstone and hope we did not introduce new errors. Findagrave.com currently has 110 listings and 12 photos whereas there are 133 listings and 150+ listings here.
