MT CARMEL CEMETERY, TACKETT BRANCH ROAD, GILES COUNTY TENNESSEE

This cemetery grew up around the Mt Carmel Methodist E. Church. It was moved in the 1920s to Stella a couple of miles away and set up down the hill from the Stella Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Stella.

On the right the white church is the Methodist Church which was moved from Mt. Carmel to Stella in the late 1920's, disbanded and demolished in 1964.
