Mr. William Edward Pylant, 90, of Pulaski died June 8, 2016, at NHC Healthcare, Pulaski. Mr. Pylant was born May 8, 1926, in Athens, Ala., and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, greatgrandfather and brother. The First Baptist Church member was a Maremont Gabriel employee who enjoyed hunting, ? shing and watching humming birds while relaxing in his recliner. He is preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Maude McNeese Pylant. Funeral services were June 10 at Bennett-MayGiles County Funeral Home with Tony Gomillion officiating. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Association, care of Bank of Frankewing, DeDe McAfee, P.O. Box 1, Frankewing, TN 38459. Survivors include wife of 65 years Robbie Owena Barnett Pylant of Pulaski; son Ricky Pylant and wife Nancy of Pulaski; daughter Kathy Pylant of Pulaski; grandchildren, Chad Pylant, Brynn Wade and husband John; two great-grandchildren; brother Wendell Pylant of Pulaski; sisters, Mary Michaels and husband Jim, Betty Steele and husband James Allen, all of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.
