Bertha Lorene Herd of passed away August 6, 2012 at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski, Tn.
She was born on June 19, 1931 in Pulaski and was 81 years old.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, August 8th at 4:00pm at Lynnwood Cemetery with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.

She was preceded in death by her, husband, John David Herd;
son, Pat Smith; daughter, Beverly Sheppard;
mother, Maud Ella Lanier Whitaker

She is survived by her,
son, Kenneth Smith of Pulaski
brother, Kenneth Whitaker of Goodsprings
brother, Maburn Whitaker of Ethridge
brother, James Lewis Whitaker of Georgia
5 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren also survive.
