MRS. I. W. CARPENTER DIES IN PULASKI


PULASKI, TENN. - Mrs. I. W. Carpenter, 81, of near Pulaski, died yesterday morning in Pulaski Hospital after 6 weeks of illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lynnville, Tenn., Methodist church, with the Rev. W. L. Harwell and the Rev. Dean Stroud officiating. Burial will be in Lynnwood cemetery.
Mrs. Carpenter, a lifelong resident of Giles county, was the daughter of Cam and Nancy Richardson McGee. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. W. Murphy, Nashville, Mrs. R. S. Phillips, Plainfield, Ind., Mrs. A. B. Wooten, Fort Worth, Texas; one son, J. C. Carpenter, Giles county; two brothers, John McGee, Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.; Mark McGee, Campbellsville, Tenn.; and two grandchildren
