LESLIE BEARD JOHNSON, JR.

Funeral services for Leslie Beard Johnson Jr., 70 of Lewisburg, who died July 20, 1993 at the Maury Regional Hospital, were held Thursday at London Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Paul King officiated and burial followed in the Lone Oak Cemetery.

A steamfitter, he was a Lewisburg native, son of the late Leslie Beard Johnson Sr. and Media Mae Austin Johnson and the husband of the late Dora Lou Tate Johnson.
Survivors include five sons, William Leslie Johnson of Shelbyville, Ronald Norris Johnson of Lewisburg. Barry Layne Johnson of Lewisburg, Larry Wayne Johnson of Cornersville and Phillip Glenn Johnson of Lewisburg; three brothers, Thomas A. Johnson of Pulaski, Dr. James L. Johnson of Lewisburg and Ralph E. Johnson of Pulaski; two sisters, Charlene Moore of Pulaski and Claudia McNatt of Shelbyville; 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild and one great-great grandchild.

He actually died in Maury County in the hospital, but lived in the adjacent county of Marshall.
