As you can see this is a very old cemetery and has significant history behind it. It is located at the site of the old Hopewell Presbyterian Church long since extinct. James Tinnen thus far seems to be the only Revolutionary War soldier or patriot documented here, but some of the others will surely in time be proven, if not already, to be forces for that significant part of the history of our country.
