Mr. John Hayes Taylor, 75, of Anes Station, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, at NHC
Oakwood. Mr. Taylor was a native of Maury County. He was retired from Century
Cable TV of Wise, Va., served in the Army during the Korean conflict, and was a
member of the Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady A. and Addie Lunn Taylor; wife,
Norma Jean Wiley Taylor; son, John Dorman Taylor; four brothers, Ivy, Horace,
and Harold Taylor and Billy Vanhooser.
He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Pat Taylor of Anes Station; sister,
Louise Whitsett of Lewisburg; brothers, Bill Taylor of Columbia, Charles
Vanhooser of Lewisburg, and Jack Vanhooser of Nashville; and grandchildren,
Derek (Holly) Taylor of Lewisburg, and Seth (Jennifer) Taylor of Chillicotha,
Ohio.
The family will be at London Funeral Home Wednesday, Feb. 27, until the funeral
services at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Harper-Taylor Cemetery. by: Ray Harris
