Due to this cemetery having little access it is basically cut off from
visitors and shows serious signs of decay from growth of brush and general
neglect of care. That situation promotes itself as the less visitors a cemetery
has the more neglect. Then the landowner who has the right of
way across his land increasingly cuts off the access to the cemetery with fencing and other
means. This may be so gradual that the landowner is not aware of it.
This cemetery is hard to survey. The monuments are variously shaped and
scattered around leaving them hard to find especially in the dense brush. The
monuments in an old cemetery like this are clustered together by family more so
than by rows.
