ELDER-POWELL-WHITFIELD CEMETERY, GILES COUNTY TENNESSEE

This topographical map from Topozone shows the GPS coordinates of the Elder-Powell-Whitfield Cemetery.

Near Liberty Hill & Prospect. Go south on Hwy 31 to the Prospect Road and turn right. Go 3+ miles and turn north (right) on Liberty Hill Road and go about 1/2 of a mile and at the gate into a farming operation with permission go into the farm road and go about 50 yards and cut across the pasture bearing due east up the slope and when at the crest of the hill turn 90 degrees right  (south) and left go around the 1st tree line then when you can see the southern border of the field turn south (right) following the crest of the hill.  When at the south edge corner of the field look into the forest at the cemetery due south of you. You will find this cemetery better in the wintertime.

This aerial view shows the Cemetery with access from the southwest corner of the open field. It shows in the trees above, but but when I was there the cemetery was in a small clearing with tall trees around.
