This map shows the GPS coordinates of the Dyer aka Big Springs Church Cemetery. GPS 35.41187 X W -86.53260. Located on Sandusky Road. South of Pleasant Grove a few hundred yards in what was at one time a large patch of woodland. The woods have been recently thinned right up to the edge of the cemetery leaving dense brush to grow up even more inside the cemetery.
Go south west from Shelbyville on Hwy 64 then turn left on Hwy 130 or Richmond Road. Follow that to Pleasant Grove Methodist Church then turn left there on Sandusky Road and go a few hundred yards and look for a field road on the left side (east) or an opening in the tree line to drive back to the edge of the woodland You will go into the field road & look for the cemetery beginning at the edge of the woodland & sprawled out over a large area.
