Added here first by C. Wayne Austin. 26 Oct 2011. This cemetery is also presented in the book Moore County Tennessee Cemeteries on page 13-14. Modified to add the
Gore Cemetery as the location of this cemetery 30 Apr 2013. Many years ago I made a promise to an elderly lady (90 years of age, then 2002) named Marie, today if living she would have been 102.). I made a promise that I would one day visit and photograph this cemetery. Her name was Marie and I have long since lost the E-mails. I finally found and visited and photographed this cemetery on 4 Feb 2015. Cemetery name & mapping confusion and location were the primary causes it took so long. I went there in about 2005 and it was late evening and I was unable to find the cemetery, In those days there was no mapping just here-say for directions. There are 40 grave listing above. All but two were reported in the Moore County Cemetery book.
