Funeral services for Daniel Hartwell Locke, 79, were conducted Monday afternoon, June 30, at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Bennett-May Funeral Home, with Charles Gibbons and Andrew Brown, Church of Christ ministers, officiating. Burial was in Cool Springs Cemetery. Mr. Locke died Sunday, June 29, at his home on Pulaski, Route 1.A native of Giles County, Mr. Locke was born June 18, 1890, the son of the late George and Betty Harwell Locke. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Mae Ward; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Fox, Goodsprings, and Mrs. Lois Locke and Ones Locke, both of Pulaski; one sister, Mrs. Candice Glover, Leoma; one brother, Sam Locke, Goodspring; and three grandchildren.Bennett-May Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
