NORWOOD, Basil Elander The Pulaski Citizen 18 Aug 1971
Basil Elander Norwood, 52, died Wednesday, August 11, at Giles County Hospital.
Services were held Thursday, August 12 at the Bennett-May Chapel with burial in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Rev. Mack Pinkelton and Rev. Clarence Stewart officiated.
A native of Giles County, he was a retired grocery clerk. He was the son of the late John William and Inez Glover Norwood.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eula Norwood; three sons, Joe Norwood, William Robert Norwood and Paul Henry Norwood; one daughter, Miss Ester Norwood; three brothers, Arnold Norwood, Florida, Sidney Norwood, Athens, Ala., Barteau Norwood and two sisters, Mrs. Dovie Campbell, Florida and Mrs. Lillian Kincaid.
