Mr. Robert Lee Barr, age 77, of Route 1, Prospect, died Friday, December 23, 1983, at the Giles County Hospital.
Funeral services were held at the Bennett-May Chapel, Sunday, December 25, at 2 p. m.
with the Rev. Ray McDonald officiating. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
A native of Giles County, Mr. Barr was a farmer. He was married to Mrs. Ruth Jane Roberts Barr of Pulaski, she survives. He was the son of the late Erskine and Myra Bowens Barr.
Survivors, other than his wife, include two step-daughters, Mrs. Nancy Glover, Mrs. Dot Stillwell, both of Shelbyville; three step-sons, Jackie, Carl and Douglas Glover, all of Shelbyville; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Holt of Culleoka; three brothers, Richard Barr of Pulaski, Marvin Barr of Columbia, and Dillon Barr of Pensacola, Florida. Bennett-May was in charge of arrangements.
