On the 1870 census for Lincoln County, TN, Henry and his family including his mother Johanna are living in the Mulberry area and farming. His mother was documented as being born in South Carolina and his father was born in Maryland. Johanna is noted as "widowed" on the 1870 and 1880 censuses.
Henry married Victoria Street in Lincoln County 16 Nov 1865. The 1880 census listed children: Madaline, Julia, Asa, George and Aaron.
Henry and Victoria both died in 1896 and no information was found regarding the cause of death.
