Eva Hoots was the third child of John and Harriette Hill Hoots of Mulberry, TN where John was a blacksmith. Their children were Richard, Corrina, Eva, Cora, Julia and John,Jr.
Eva married George Buckner Reynolds in Lincoln County on 6 Feb 1884. Together they had five chiildren:

Eva, a widow living with one of her children, died 28 Dec 1908 in Fayetteville, TN of consumption at age 43.
