Herman Lee Gilmore, Sr., age 78, passed away Thursday July 23, 2009 at his home in Pulaski.
Mr. Gilmore was the son of the late James W. and Everee Murphy Gilmore.
He was a retired Chemical Metallurgist with NASA and preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Funeral at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment in Brick Church Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Gertrude Gilmore, one son Herman Lee Gilmore, Jr. both of Pulaski, one daughter Denise Wilson of Columbia, two brothers Edward Gilmore of Pell City, Danny Gilmore of Bessemer, one sister Elizabeth Bailey of Sylacauga, four grandchildren Matthew Chaviers, Dawn Chaviers, Alex Gilmore, Laura Gilmore and one great grandson.
