LONG, Mary Lou Randolph.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Randolph Long, 74, were held at 2 o'clock
Sunday afternoon at Hester's Chapel Church of Christ with the burial in Booth's
Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Long died at 2 o'clock Saturday morning, April 22, 1961 at
Limestone County Hospital, after a long illness.
Born September 4, 1886, in Giles County, she was the daughter of the late Frank
Randolph and Babe Randolph.
Mrs. Long is survived by her husband, Wesley Long, Route 1, Lester, Ala.; four
daughters, Mrs. Lelia Favors, Salem, Ala., Mrs. Verlie Hill, Madison County,
Ala., Mrs. Retha Chambers, Belle Mina, Ala., and Mrs. Reba Graves, Goodsprings,
Tenn.; two sons, Rufus Long and Ashford Long, Athens, Ala.; twenty two
grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; and two sisters, Miss Ida
Randolph, Limestone County, Ala., and Mrs. Emma Long, Winter Haven, Fla.,
Pulaski Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
