LONG, Ezra. The Pulaski Citizen 24 Mar 1965. Funeral services for Ezra Long, 83, retired farmer, were held at one o'clock Saturday afternoon in Pulaski Funeral Home, conducted by Gilbert Shaffer, Church of Christ minister. Burial took place in Booth Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Long died at 10 o'clock Thursday night, March 18, in Giles County Hospital.Born May 7, 1881 in Giles County, Tenn., he was the son of Dan Long and Sarah Johnson Long. He was a member of the Church of Christ.Mr. Long is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maggie Simpson Long; one son, Jackie Long, both of Pulaski and one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Rainey of Athens, Ala., and one brother Wesley Long of Lester, Ala., Pulaski Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
