Many unmarked graves.
Several vault type graves unmarked. 5327,5357,0076
Several fieldstones with no inscriptions.

This is a very old and fragile cemetery with stones easily damaged by overzealous people. Be gentle on these soft monuments if you have business here. Many of the monuments are stack stone vault style monuments which mimic pyramid and are very scenic when well kept. There is a tendency for them to shift and fall over so they need intervention just as other monuments to remain standing. Also most of these special monuments do not have inscribed stones for us to ponder over, but the ones I have seen around middle Tennessee that have stand up stones in front of them are usually dated from 1820 to 1830. The stack stones themselves are not carved of a high quality limestone and do not contain inscriptions. You will see white crosses all over this cemetery. I am unaware of the particulars of those, but likely someone recently ran a radar over this cemetery looking for lost graves and used the metal crosses to mark graves that were previously lost. I was careful to photograph all of these but cannot vouch for the 100% accuracy of determining the unmarked grave locations from the use of all of them.
