Location: Go South from Lawrenceburg on Hwy. #43 to Leoma, turn left on Rabbit Trail
Rd., (Hwy 98) and again left (or east on Hood Hollow Road. Follow that for about 3 & 1/2 miles to Appleton, turn or merge left onto Appleton Road and go about a mile passing the junction of Blooming grove road along the way. Next the road bends back left (north) again and the larger Dobbins Cemetery will be on your right and the Appleton Cemetery will also be on your right, but further out in the field. This abandoned cemetery is in the middle of a field about 500 feet east & north of the Dobbins Cemetery. It is covered with Privy hedge, honeysuckle vines and saw briars.
This aerial map shows the cemetery as the square shaped thicket out in the field northeast of the circular drive around the Dobbins Cemetery.
