CHUNN, John Ottie, 21 Feb 1930 - 29 Aug 2007 in Ardmore, Tn. (Maury Co. native; son of Montie Chunn, Sr. and Daisy Edna Weaver Chunn; Veteran. "CPL, U.S. Army, Korea"

Mr. John Ottie Chunn, 77, retired from Union Carbide and former resident of Riverside Drive, died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Sunbridge Care of Ardmore in Ardmore,Tennessee.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Eddie Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Hardison Cemetery on Joe Brown Road with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 10 a.m. � 12 p.m. at the funeral home. 

The Maury County native was the son of the late Montie Chunn, Sr. and Daisy Edna Weaver Chunn. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Chunn was a member of West 7th Street Church of Christ in Columbia, Tennessee.

Survivors include three sons, Wayne (Judy) Chunn, David (Lynn) Chunn both of Summertown, Winston (Tammy) Chunn of Spring Hill; six grandchildren, John Chunn, Joshua Chunn, Ashley Ferrell, Katie Chunn, Chase Chunn, Caleb Chunn; one great-grandson, J.D. Chunn; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
