Loyd Cecil was the son of William Ingram & Elizabeth Ribble Cecil. (see Cecil Cemetery) He was born in Indiana on 24 Aug 1833. He married Virginia "Jennie" Winslow Porter and she bore him two sons and three daughters. During the Civil War Loyd served as a Private in Company E, 6th Tenn. Cavalry. He died on 1 Nov 1920, at the age of 87 years.
