COOPER, David Y., 1 Jan 1828 - 16 Oct 1897. "Age 79, (Center Star area, member of Methodist Church, peaceable quiet neighbor. Wife, two sisters and three brothers survive." Columbia Herald, 5 Nov 1897.)(dates don't calculate time span of 79 years.)
David Youngman Cooper married Nancy Jane Evans. Veteran of the Civil War. In 1876 his father conveyed to him (Book 3A, p 103, Maury Co. Tennessee) 50 acres of land adjoining that of Mary Cooper, his sister, and "all my stock and farming tools I may die possessed of."
