*Added here from Death Notices, usually Newspaper Obituaries.

This cemetery has been well maintained for the past several years by the Monsanto Company. Evidently, this was not the case when the compilers of They Passed This Way listed the stones in the 1960s , since a fairly large section of the older part of the cemetery was completely omitted from that study. There are many graves that have no markers. A few are marked with fieldstones, but relatively few such stones are now in place.

Listing originally compiled by Faye Bradford 5 Oct 2009 from various sources, mostly from the book Maury County Tennessee Cemeteries by Fred Lee Hawkins Jr. Page 655, listed by him 14 Oct 1987. Also listed in the book They Passed This Way, Page A-172, about 1967. Photos contributed mostly by Marilyn Whittemore Adams, with a few photos by Cheryl Martin. The photos were then were downloaded by Mary Bob McClain. They were interfaced with this listing by Faye Bradford and forwarded back to C. Wayne Austin for final processing and adding to this site 5 Dec 2012. Much of this old historic cemetery remains not photographed. Included here are about 270 grave listings and the findagrave web site as of now has reported 163 of these.
