The cemetery is located on Joy Road. You can get there by traveling Hwy. 43 from Mt. Pleasant going South. Turn right onto Joy Road. 
The cemetery is located about a mile up the road on the left side. The family that is buried in the cemetery are of black or Indian heritage. 
I believe. They have traced their history back and they were never slaves. They owned and still own a large tract of land known as the
Chavers' Farm next to and behind the cemetery. [Rick Gray, 11/8/04]
