GRESHAM, Mary D., 1 Sep 1845 - 1 Mar 1901, (Wife, W. R. Gresham; daughter of W.W. Cochran.)
W. R. Gresham, son of Maury Co. pioneers, Benoni and Sarah Steele Gresham, was born in 1841 on his father's farm located between Bryants and Parks Stations. He married Mary D. Cochran. They raised two children: Rush Gresham and Cora Gresham Mayberry. Mr. Gresham was a long time farmer and also operated a saw mill in the region. He was a Confederate soldier and a Democrat."
