BOOKER, Merrit H., 4 Jun 1787 - 11 Jun 1839. (52-00-07.) "born in Cumberland Co., Va." Inscription: Sacred to the memory of MERRIT H. BOOKER who was born in CUMBERLAND COUNTY VA on the 4th of June 1787 and died the 11th of June 1839 aged 52 years and 7 days. -- Leaves have their time to fall And flowers to wither at the north winds breath. And stars to set but all. Thou hast all seasons for thine own. O death.."
