Robert Higginbotham, along with his wife and children, Henry Boling/Bowling and family, William Garrison and family migrated from Tazewell County, VA c1813 to Madison County, Mississippi Territory.
Robert is buried on land he and his family once owned now known as the Grimwood Farm. aka Cole Bently Farm.

Robert Higginbotham is listed on the DAR Plaque at the entrance of Madison County Courthouse, Huntsville, AL.
