                - now a thicket where neighbors dump their grass clippings - where this

Note: I have been to this cemetery location twice looking for
this stone and found nothing. I assume the stone has sunken
below the ground or been taken away and is perhaps lost [CWA 12

Note from the
1980s: "Wall Highway curves (slightly right going north) around this cemetery which
(was) is known in the community as the Dedman Cemetery. Some of the
residents recall attending grave-side funeral services here many
years ago. This cemetery has been all but destroyed in recent
years and one lady saw a certain individual actually take
headstones from this cemetery. Attempts to find what was done
with the stones have been without success. It is certain that
members of the Dedman family are buried here but I have no
record of which ones. The tiny tombstone of Robert Knox, above,
is the only stone left. Those individuals responsible for the
destruction of this cemetery evidently overlooked this tiny
stone or thought it too small to bother with. The people living
directly across the road were not aware this was a cemetery."
