These graves and/or
stones were moved to the Old Madison City Cemetery behind city hall to the Clift
Lots. I am unaware of the time and particulars of that, if the graves were moved
or abandoned and just the stones moved. They showed up on findagrave on 6 July
of 2012 as added by Susan Bennett. The shopping center was built in 2013 and any
possibility of finding any other lost graves were destroyed in that expansion if
due diligence was not utilized prior to that.  Madison Building Permits may
have information on the construction and how that related to this cemetery which
was abolished in a 10 foot deep excavation assuming the graves (not the
gravestones) were still there.
