This map shows the GPS Coordinates of the GLover Cemetery as plotted by C. Wayne Austin using ACME Mapper #2. This is also known as the Latitude and Longitude location. ACME Mapper #2:N 34.72997 W 86.79501 at NE corner of the intersection of Browns Ferry Rd & Burgreen Rd. ALTERNATIVE LOCATION: SW corner of SE quarter, Section 36, T3S, R3W. There is now a business right in front of the cemetery and thanks to the bulldozers a steep slope up to the cemetery so the access is from Stoneham Way between two houses with a specially designated sideway for entrance into the cemetery.
From Athens go south on Hwy 31 to Browns Ferry Road and turn (left) east. Travel that past Mooresville Road to Burgreen's Gin several miles to the intersection of Burgreen & Browns Ferry Rds. Travel on a another 1/2 mile to the Old Vininngs Way St. and turn North (left) into that subdivision. Turn next on Stoneham Way (left) and go all the way to the end of the street into the circle and notice a sidewalk between two homes on our right. Go down the sidewalk to the end. When you reach the end bear left into the trees and the fallen and crumbling box tombs are found there.
