**Hannah (Lowrey) Sivley, 16 Oct 1812 26 Oct 1852. She was the 1st wife of Pleasant Sivley, married Pleasant Sivley on 4 Jan 1832. Hannah is buried in the Old Morris Chapel Church Cemetery. She was also the mother of Rachel Ann Sivley Pitt interred in the New Morris Chapel Cemetery.) Rachel (Taylor) Sivley was her mother-in-law, 1774 1864. She is also interred in the nearby Old Morris Chapel Cemetery and was the wife of Joseph Sivley,  1784 1818 who has a memorial in the Sivley Cemetery, located in the John Hunt Park, Huntsville Alabama. Joseph Sivley's father was named Jacob. Jacob was the original progenitor of all the Alabama Sivleys and he is interred also in John Hunt Park, Huntsville Alabama too and was a Revolutionary War Soldker.

The Sivley Cemetery originally was the old Sivley Family cemetery that changed into a community cemetery. Descendants maintain the cemetery quite well. It lies in the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4, section 17, T6S, R6W. Tombstone materials range from Limestone, Sandstone, Concrete and Granite.  A large modern grave house covers several graves. A large stone bearing a family name stands in the middle of several smaller markers.  This is unique for rural cemeteries. The day I visited they were installing the Terry Mausoleum and it was not completed yet, but will be another significant milestone for this cemetery.
The tombstone of John W. Sivley raises some questions. He died at Camp Chase, a Union prison camp in Ohio, in 1865.  The marker implies this is his final resting place. However, some doubts arise.  Union soldiers buried Confederate prisoners in nearby cemeteries so this is likely a Centaph monument. A unique inscription belongs to Orvil L. Shelton. Although his tombstone is here, it notes his grave is in Tennessee.
