Funeral for James "Buba" Cole, 68, of Decatur will be Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Royce Teague officiating. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery in Lawrence County. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Cole died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born May 11, 1936, in Lawrence County to Jack Cole and Martha Teague Cole. He retired as a mechanic. He served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include two sisters, Jenney Cole Holbert and Nettie Tincy Cole, both of Decatur; and one brother, Jackie Cole and wife Sheila of Decatur. His nephews will serve as pallbearers.
