Mabel C. (Peden) Ledlow is buried at the Old Brick Cemetery in Colbert County, Alabama. She was the daughter of Jack Peden and Molly Dodson. She was the wife of Grady Lee Ledlow. They were married on 1 November 1935 in Colbert County, Alabama. They had one son Hansell Lee Ledlow who died at the age of two years of diphtheria.

Funeral Services will be condu
cted on Tuesday - Mrs. Mabel Ledlow, aged 21, well known resident of the Brick Community, Sheffield route one, passed away at the residence today at 12 noon, following a long illness. Deceased was a native of that section of the county and attended school at Steenson Hollow. She had been a member of the Church of Christ at Steenson Hollow the past five years and had many friends in her community, who will learn with deepest regret of her passing. Surviving are her husband Grady Lee Ledlow, her father Jack Peden, Sheffield route one, three brothers Paul and John Peden of Sheffield and E.L. Peden Arkansas and five sisters; Mrs. Walter Baker Tuscumbia; Mrs. Willie Nance and Mrs. William Myrick Sheffield, Mrs. Jesse Baugs, Florence. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Old Brick Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Billy Speers of Shady Grove Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery, Sprys directing.

DEATH CLAIMS CHILD
Hansell Lee Ledlow, two year old son of Mr and Mrs Grady Ledlow, Sheffield route one, passed away this morning at 4:50 o'clock at the residence, following a short illness of diphtheria. Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence, and interment will be held at The Old Brick Cemetery, with Brown-Service directing.
