Clara Walker Rogers, age 92, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, died Friday,
March 28, 2014. The visitation will be Sunday, March 30th from2-3:30
at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow
in the funeral home chapel at 3:30 with Bro. Chad Holder
officiating. Interment will be in Old Brick Cemetery.
She was a native of Leighton and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Rogers; parents, Cannie and Walter L. Walker; brothers, Joe, Frank, Leonard, Dick, and Charlie Walker; sisters, Kathleen Romaro and Irene Hale; nieces, Shirley Cummings, Barbara Walker, Virginia Trousdale and Betty Letson; and nephews, Jimmy Binkley and Frankie Walker.
Survivors include her nephews Jerry Walker (Kim), Jackie Walker, Joe Hale (Yvonne), Buddy Walker (Helen), Donnie Walker (Cheslene) and Paul Hale; nieces, Joyce Kent (Gene), Cora Sue Loftin (Henry), Kay Derrick (Emmett), Beverly Woodis, Angela Benson, and Susan Harrell, and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be great nephews Thi Walker, Jeremiah Bretherick, Patrick Wilkes, Dan, Nick, and Brian Hale.
The family expresses a special thanks to the 4th floor nursing staff of Helen Keller Hospital and staff of Cottage of the Shoals Care and Rehabilitation Center, and the Good Samaritan Hospice of Madison especially Sherry and Melissa.
