JORDAN, Norman Ellis, "Karo", 31 May 1933 - 27 Dec. 2012. (h/o and shares stone with Reba Louise Breeden.)
 
Norman Ellis "Karo" Jordan, age 79 of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, passed away December 27, 2012 in Brandon, Florida, with family nearby. 
A service to celebrate his life will be Monday, December 31, at 12:00 p.m., at Old Brick Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Old Brick Cemetery. 
Reverend and nephew, Chad Holder of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and nephew, Eddie Breeden of New Johnsonville, Tennessee, will officiate the service. 
Mr. Jordan was born in Colbert County, Alabama. He worked 40 years with the Tennessee Valley Authority as an ironworker and enjoyed RV travel in his retirement. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and a charter member of Park Terrace Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sheffield, Alabama. 
Mr. Jordan was the son of the late Prince Alvie Jordan and Annie Lee Keenum Jordan Trousdale, and husband of the late Reba Louise Breeden Jordan. Also preceding him in death were his two brothers, Charles O'neal Jordan and William Hoover Jordan. 
Survivors include his daughters, Linda Sue Jordan Marshall and husband Richard, of Tampa, Florida, and Lezlee Rose Jordan Leatherwood and husband Dan, of Birmingham, Alabama; his sister, Katie Myhan (husband Robert D. "Bob" Myhan), sister-in-law, Bobbie Jordan, and many nieces and nephews. His cherished grandchildren include Jordan Paul Marshall, Allan James Marshall, Alyssa Jordan Leatherwood and Daniel Jay Leatherwood.

Reba Louise Breeden Jordan, age 75, of Muscle Shoals, Ala., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, in Brandon, Fla., with her family by her side.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A service to celebrate her life will be at 2 p.m. at Old Brick Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Jordan was born in Humphreys County, Tenn. She worked for more than 20 years for the Muscle Shoals City School System and enjoyed RV traveling in her retirement. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
Mrs. Jordan was the daughter of the late Henry Lee and Elsie Watts Breeden. Preceding her in death were her three brothers, Henry Edward Sr., Robert Russell (Dutch), Charles Douglas Breeden, and her sister, Agnes Evelyn Breeden Jordan.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Norman Ellis (Karo) Jordan; and her daughters, Linda Sue Marshall and husband, Richard, of Tampa, Fla., and Lezlee Rose Leatherwood and husband, Dan, of Birmingham, Ala.; her sister, Mary Frances Cantrell, of New Johnsonville, Tenn.; and sisters-in-law, Annie Margaret Brown Breeden, Bobbie Jordan and Katie Myhan; her brother-in-law, Robert Myhan; and many nieces and nephews. Her cherished grandchildren include Jordan Paul Marshall, Allan James Marshall, Alyssa Jordan Leatherwood and Daniel Jay Leatherwood.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Jordan's family requests donations be made to the Old Brick Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund.
Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, is directing.
