Funeral for James Garth "Bud" Borden, 63, of Moulton will be Saturday, Aug. 8, 
2009, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Fuller officiating. 
Burial will be in Old Brick Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at 
the funeral home.
Mr. Borden died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, at Shoals Hospital. He was born Dec. 
20, 1945, in Lawrence County to W.H. Borden and Cora Suddieth Borden. He was a 
laborer for Pilgim's Pride. 
Survivors include three brothers, Junior Borden of Bessemer, Jackie Borden of 
Decatur and Ronnie Borden of Moulton; two sisters, Shirley Cross of Courtland 
and Ruth Hughes of Moulton; two stepdaughters, Margie Hood and Sue Swims; two 
stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

MOULTON -- Funeral for Martha Carol Borden, 56, of Moulton will be Tuesday at 2 
p.m. at Old Brick Baptist Church with Keith Jones officiating and Elliot Funeral 
Home directing.
Burial will be in Old Brick Cemetery. The body will be at the church one hour 
before the funeral.
Mrs. Borden died Saturday, June 27, 1998, at Medical Center Shoals. She was born 
March 16, 1942, in Ford City to John and Lula Romans. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, James Borden; two daughters, Sue Swins of 
Natural Bridge and Margie Hood of Moulton; four brothers, Richard Romans and 
McKinley Romans, both of Tennessee, Charlie Romans of Virginia and James Romans 
of Russellville; four sisters, Blanch McCary of Moulton, Ruby Stephson, of 
Tennessee, and Modine Genero and Flora Martin, both of Rockport, Ill.; six 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Peoples, Robert Brooks, Ronnie Borden, Jackie Borden, 
Tracie Culver and Tony Jones.
